Legend Lighting prides itself on offering our customers concierge service, with a dedicated lighting specialist available to assist you with your lighting project. What are your order cancellation and return policies?
Legend Lighting gladly accepts returns within 15 days of in-store pickup or delivery with an original receipt or invoice. Lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and related products must be in resalable condition, in the original packaging, and must not have been installed.
Products not displayed in the showroom and some customized lighting systems are considered “Special Orders” and are subject to a 25% restocking fee or manufacturer’s restocking fee, whichever is greater, plus applicable freight charges to return product to manufacturer.
Changes or cancellations may only be made to Special Orders prior to the order being placed with the manufacturers. Do you provide installation services?
Yes, we offer installation services through our sister company, Powerhouse Electrical Services. Whether for a single fixture, a small or large remodeling project, landscape lighting or wiring for an entire house, we are equipped to take care of your installation needs.
Legend Lighting and its sister company, PowerHouse Electrical Services, are licensed and insured electrical contractors, and as such we can handle turn-key or “white glove” installation of most products sold by the showroom at a completive rate. Does Legend Lighting repair lighting fixtures, table lamps, etc.?
At this time, Legend Lighting does not repair lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, table or floor lamps, etc. outside of processing manufacturer warranty claims for the products that we sell. We are happy to recommend other local businesses that do provide these services.
Can I order online without coming to the showroom?
We are not an online retailer; however, our website will allow you to set up a user name and password, search our inventory and make selections which can be saved to your account for your convenience. Additionally, orders may be confirmed online, but please note that without prior arrangements these orders will be for in-store pickup only. We feel that lighting is best selected in our showroom, where our customers can work with one of our lighting specialists to tailor a lighting solution for their individual needs, and they can see the quality, size, color and finish of the fixtures they are purchasing.
Can I have my lighting delivered to my home?
Yes, if prior arrangements are made. Be sure to ask your lighting specialist.
Will you ship to another city?

Can I have my lighting shipped directly to my home by the manufacturer?
Some lighting manufacturers do permit direct shipping to a customer’s home usually for a nominal fee. Be sure to ask one of our lighting specialists.
Do you stock all items on display?
Legend Lighting is pleased to offer hundreds of unique and fresh designs on display in our lighting gallery so that our customers have a wide variety of lighting and ceiling fan products to select from. While we try to stock many of our best selling items, due to the large quantity of items on display and limited warehouse space, many of our displayed items are ordered for our customers at the time of purchase.
How can I find out if a product is in stock or available for immediate shipping from the manufacturer?
One of our lighting specialists would be glad to assist you in verifying product availability both at Legend Lighting and at any particular manufacturer’s distribution facility.
How long will it take for my lighting to arrive in the showroom for pick up?
Typical arrival time for most products is four to six weeks. Please notify your lighting specialist if you require quicker delivery, as some manufacturers do offer this option for customers willing to pay expedited freight charges. Please note that items that are handmade or custom made to order (such as Hubbardton Forge) may take a minimum of six weeks or longer to arrive.
Do you require a deposit or prepayment for my order?
Yes, all retail orders must be prepaid. If you are a contractor or design professional and wish to open an account with payment terms, please contact your lighting specialist for more information.
What payment types are accepted?
Prepaid orders may be placed with cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. Contractor or design professionals with an account must pay with cash or check only, please.
May I pay with a credit card by telephone or email?
For your safety, we do not accept credit card payments by telephone or email. You may, however, fax a credit card payment or use our secure website to submit payment online. Ask your lighting specialist for more information.
Are there restrictions or limitations to any coupons you may offer?
Most coupons are subject to the limitations and restrictions as indicated on the coupon. However, some manufacturers do require us to maintain a minimum resell price (referred to as Universal Minimum Resell Price, or UMRP), and coupon discounts may not be applicable for such products.
What is required for a contractor or design professional to set up an account with you?

Do you offer customization with any of your products?
Legend Lighting offers several product lines with the capability to customize product finishes, sizes, etc. to your specification. Please inquire with a lighting specialist if you are interested in customized products.
Does Legend Lighting sell energy efficient and eco-friendly products?
Legend Lighting is committed to providing eco-conscious solutions for any type of project. Our lighting specialists are knowledgeable of both energy efficient lighting solutions and products sourced from renewable or recycled resources. Most energy efficient and Energy Star products are marked in the showroom to assist you in finding solutions that will save energy in your home. Some products are energy efficient by design, while most products can be retrofitted to be energy efficient. This varies by manufacturer and product category. Be sure to ask your lighting specialist if you are interested in ways to save electricity with your lighting selections.
Do you sell any products that are made locally or made in the USA?
Yes, we do display or otherwise have access to select product lines that are either sourced locally or made or assembled domestically. Please ask a lighting specialist if you are interested in learning more about such products.
Where does Legend Lighting obtain product photos, specifications, and descriptions that are available on this website and through its searchable product database?
Most of the images, specifications and descriptions of the products featured on our website are provided by the respective manufacturer who makes the product. Legend Lighting strives to provide accurate information, though we cannot warrant that information provided to us by our manufacturers is without error. One of our lighting specialists is happy to verify product descriptions or specifications with our manufacturers if there is any information in question.
Can I make an appointment at Legend Lighting outside of your normal business hours?
Yes, one of our lighting specialists can set up an appointment with you according to your schedule with advance notice.
